Only people who celebrate Halloween around here are wankers who saw about it in the Hollywood movies and think it´s cool to copy everything Americans do. Thankfully there´s not many of them. Halloween is not a holiday in Estonia.
Although we do have similar holidays. They´re called Mardipäev and Kadripäev. I´m not quite sure when they are though.
Murray Walker is old! Would you guys rather remember him as one of the greatest motor sport commentators that ever lived or a guy who didn´t know when to quit and said senile dribble on air? Just let it go.
I agree about the Eurosport commentators being the best in the business. They make almost everything they commentate on look exiting and interesting.
I am going to miss the Brits being annoyed about that Allen dude. It always amused me.
Hehe... I had the exact same lighter and in that colour too.
I asked for a lighter from the shop assistant and although there were blue, black, yellow, white ones, she gave me a pink/purple one. I didn´t want to cause a scene and act like a child (or a girl ), "oooohh, I don´t like that colour, oooohhh" , so just accepted it. I didn´t get called a gay but a friend did make a little bit fun of me, which I didn´t really mind. Humour is good, even if it´s you that´s the subject.
How you make out how many cars Alonso passed and then let past from that camera angle is beyond me.
And Hamilton basically got a DT which turned out to be 25 second penalty because it was so close to end of the race. If Alonso didn´t get a DT during the race then there is nothing to investigate. Case closed.
Where are the conspiracy theorists? I mean come on. Piquet mysteriously loses control of his car right after Alonso went to pits, causes a SC period in which Alonso benefits the most. Brilliant team tactics, eh?
Anyway, great track, great race and a great result. Enough said.
Vettel aside, imo the weirdest thing is putting Kovalainen in class 1 and Alonso in class 2. Hamilton and Alonso in the same car were as equal as equal gets. Kovalainen is getting hammered by Hamilton in the same car. Otherwise I pretty much agree with Arox.
To be honest it really has to be Hamilton. He has shown he has the speed and also more importantly, he´s shown he can be a ruthless selfcentered son of a b... erm gun on the track, who´ll do anything to win. And the most succesful drivers in recent times (don´t know about the early days) have been that... Senna, Prost, Schumi, Alonso.
Yep. When you´re under 14 you need a license to ride on public roads. You have to do a theory test and a riding test. But again, I´ve never heard anyone getting in trouble when they didn´t have it.
As far as I know in Estonia the bike has to have a white light in the front, a red light or a reflector on the back and yellow reflectors on the spokes. You need to wear a helmet, be sober and when you´re under 14, a license. I´m not 100% sure but I think the bell is also mandatory.
I broke and still break every one of those laws. I didn´t have a front light because I never needed it. It doesn´t really get pitch black around here in the summer and in the winter I rode in the town which has street lights. I had reflectors on spokes and on the back but thanks to my riding style they weren´t there for long. I´ve never worn a helmet on a bike. I´ve ridden while drunk. (I didn´t fall off.) I rode without a license when I was that young. I didn´t have a bell because my bike didn´t have it and frankly that´s just gay...
Even though there are so many rules about bikes I have never (and I mean never) heard anyone get in trouble with the law because they were riding an illegal bike or in the wrong place. I´ve ridden on the sidewalk with a totally busted up illegal bike in front of the police and they just don´t care.
